weekly update!
Hmm...these weekly updates of mine should stop soon...and I promise I will get back to more regular updates!
As usual been incredibly busy over the past week with no time left to blog... :(
Projects are in the same situation as before, if not worse! I have to submit them on Friday and there is a lot of work still left...
Last Thursday to Saturday I had the privilege of attending MDC 2004 (The Mobile and Embedded Developers Conference) at the Taj Residency. Contrary to expectations the food wasnt all that great...but the sessions and speakers were awesome! It was a great learning experience for me and my fellow champs. We met some incredible people like Doug Boling, Ed Kaim, Kevin Collins, Kevin Lisota, etc..We also got some great news there when we met Mr. Sanjay Shetty of INETA and got INETA recognition for our group BDotNETStudent!
Last week I spent some time with Mr. Pradipta Sharma of the Embedded team, Microsoft, who invited me to MDC 2004. We also went to f-Bar with Raghavan and Sunil and had some great food and pastries! Yummy!
Also went to the 'Bangalore Hubba' celebrations at Palace Grounds to watch a friend's dance performance on Sunday.
Oh and did I mention I am home alone now! Well the independance is kinda nice (infact great!!)...but I miss my mom and her great food and coffee!! Mom is now with Dad in Colombo, Sri Lanka. She will be there till January 12th or so and return before my exams start on 18th. I have actually learnt how to cook a few essential dishes (like rice, dal, etc..) so that I dont starve to death...cuz i'm usually too lazy to leave home and go out to eat...
