MDC! MDC!! MDC!!!
Yup today myself and many other student champs got the privilege of attending the first day of the Mobile and Embedded Developer's Conference and it was simply great!
The event was filled with geeks like Doug Boling, Kevin Collins, Ed Kaim and our very own Gaurav Khanna and Sanjay Shetty!
The speakers delivered some great sessions and in between the sessions we champs had great fun at the Windows Embedded booth where we were in charge of some great beauties - hey dont get me wrong - i'm talking of some of the coolest and latest gizmos in town ;) from the 02 XDA to the Motorola MPX to Krome to the Tablet PC - the stall had 'em all and we played around with 'em all!
We had loads of fun and actually learnt quite a bit at the sessions - we were expecting them to be OHTs (or Over Head Transmissions) - but the speakers greatly simplified their talk and this helped us students a lot.
We are now well set on our way to becoming MAD (mobile application developer)!!

Apart from the sessions our local user group - the Bangalore .NET Student User Group - got its much awaited INETA recognition thanks to Sanjay Shetty and the wi-fi zone at the hotel (which surprisingly worked for everyone expect at our tablet pc in the win-embedded booth) - Sanjay was able to access our nomination and process it on the spot and with the click of a button - the picture below with my handwriting on a tablet pc says it all!
Yeah!
